Pattaya Dive Sites: Reefs, Islands and Wrecks

Choose your next Pattaya dive day by the kind of underwater experience you want: island reefs, a wreck visit, or a trip further offshore.

Plan your diving

The Near Islands

Koh Larn, Koh Sak and Koh Krok form the nearby island area used for Pattaya boat diving. Their reef settings give our team several options when choosing a route for the day. A sheltered reef can be a useful setting for introductory diving or training when the conditions are suitable; a different part of the same island may require more experience.

Your booking is for an experience and a date. Tell us if a particular island is important to you so we can discuss the planned route before confirming.

Trips to the Far Islands

Koh Man Wichai and Koh Klung Badan are among the Far Island destinations Copperband uses on suitable trips. These days involve travelling further offshore, so the route needs to work with the weather, boat plan and divers aboard. A longer crossing does not guarantee better visibility. Choose a trip for its overall plan, rather than assuming that distance alone makes a dive better.

Reef dives or wreck dives?

Reef trips focus on the underwater landscape and marine life. Wreck trips add a substantial man-made structure and a different set of planning considerations. HTMS Kutt is a well-known Pattaya wreck opportunity; HTMS Kram also features in the area’s wreck-diving discussion. The appropriate dive depends on qualification, recent experience, conditions and the planned depth. Wreck penetration is a separate activity and is not included automatically in a guided visit.

Plan a day with Copperband

Standard diving days aboard Copperband 1 include equipment, instructor or guide support, Pattaya or Jomtien pickup, breakfast and coffee, Thai lunch and towels. We confirm the meeting or pickup time before the trip. The usual boat departure is around 09:00, with return around 16:00–16:30.

Send your certification, last-dive date, preferred date and any site requests. First-time divers should choose our supervised Try Diving experience, while certified divers can compare two- and three-dive options.
