Koh Larn beyond the beach

Koh Larn is part of the Pattaya Near Islands. Many visitors know it as a beach destination, but the surrounding island area also provides reef options for diving trips. A dedicated diving boat day is planned around the underwater activities, equipment and support needed by the participants.

That makes it a different experience from taking a public ferry for an independent beach visit. Tell us whether your priority is diving, snorkelling or time ashore so the team can recommend a suitable plan.

Choosing the right activity

First-time divers can book a supervised introduction, while certified divers can join guided fun dives. Learning to dive is a fuller programme with knowledge and practical training; a Try Dive is an introduction and does not award an Open Water qualification.

If your group includes people with different experience levels, share those details before booking. The activity, guide support and chosen reef area need to suit the people taking part.

Reef routes and conditions

Several factors influence the day’s route: wind direction, sea conditions, visibility and the diver group. A request for Koh Larn can be discussed, but a booking does not guarantee a specific reef or a beach stop. Nearby Koh Sak or Koh Krok may be part of an appropriate alternative plan.

Ask about the intended itinerary if you are trying to combine the trip with another activity. A diving day with Copperband usually returns to Pattaya around 16:00–16:30, with the final timing subject to the trip.

Booking your Koh Larn diving day

Send your preferred date, number of participants, certification level and last-dive date. Tell us your Pattaya or Jomtien hotel for pickup planning. Standard diving trips include equipment, instructor or guide support, breakfast and coffee, Thai lunch and towels.

You can add a Dragon House apartment stay with separate check-in and check-out dates when accommodation is available. Staying in Pattaya the night before can make it easier to prepare for the morning collection.
