Description
Hollis 200LX + DCX – Flagship High-Performance Regulator
The Hollis 200LX + DCX Regulator is designed for divers looking for high-performance breathing, robust construction and configuration flexibility. As the flagship regulator in the Hollis LX series, it combines the pneumatically balanced 200LX second stage with the high-performance over-balanced DCX first stage.
The DCX first stage is designed to progressively increase intermediate pressure as ambient pressure and gas density increase. It also incorporates a fifth low-pressure port positioned for flexible hose routing, making the system suitable for recreational configurations as well as backmount and sidemount applications.
Adjustable 200LX Second Stage
The 200LX gives the diver control over breathing characteristics through an adjustable inhalation knob and a Dive/Pre-Dive Venturi control.
Its pneumatically balanced valve is designed for smooth breathing performance, while the ergonomic exhaust directs bubbles away from the diver’s field of view.
A particularly useful feature for advanced equipment configurations is the reversible demand valve, which allows the hose configuration to be converted from right-hand to left-hand without specialised tools or recalibration.
PVD-Coated Metal Components
Hollis uses PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) plating on the 200LX valve and metal components. The second stage incorporates PVD-plated stainless-steel components including the metal ring, adjustment knob and Dive/Pre-Dive end cap.
The DCX first stage also uses a hard PVD coating while maintaining a relatively compact design.

Designed for Recreational & Technical Diving
The combination of an adjustable second stage, over-balanced first stage and flexible hose routing makes the Hollis 200LX + DCX particularly relevant for experienced recreational divers and divers using more advanced equipment configurations.
The fifth LP port on the DCX can simplify hose routing for backmounted doubles and sidemount, while the reversible 200LX second stage provides additional flexibility when configuring regulator hoses.
For dedicated sidemount configurations, Hollis itself uses DCX first stages and LX second stages in its sidemount regulator packages.
