Your diving pathway

Build a foundation in diving, develop your experience and continue to rescue training.

Each stage builds on the previous qualification. Progress depends on meeting the training requirements and developing the experience needed for the next level.

Courses in the pathway

  • Open Water Diver
  • Advanced Open Water Diver
  • Rescue Diver

Arrange your schedule

Tell us your current qualification and how long you can stay in Pattaya. We will plan the training stages, discuss any prerequisite first aid or logged-dive requirements and explain the package inclusions.

Choose your preferred start date when booking. Add optional accommodation with its own check-in and check-out dates; room availability will not prevent you booking diving.

Build your Rescue Diver pathway in stages

The Open Water to Rescue Diver package in Pattaya is a progression, not a single course with several cards awarded at once. The advertised package price is THB 55,950. Your plan follows Open Water, continuing-education preparation and Rescue training, with the relevant learning and performance requirements completed at each stage.

At the beginning, the priority is becoming comfortable with equipment, basic skills and the buddy system. Later training introduces further planning, awareness and responsibilities. These stages make more sense when you have time to use what you learned, receive feedback and identify what needs practice before the next course.

Tell us whether you are starting with no certification or have already completed part of the route. Your current qualification, available time and recent experience affect the programme that is appropriate. Do not assume that a pre-existing course will automatically change the published package price; ask for the correct route and inclusions for your circumstances.

Plan training time, requirements and separate accommodation

Before paying for a pathway, discuss the sequence, expected study time, practical days and any additional experience-building with Copperband. Certification at each stage is earned by meeting the requirements. Weather, student progress and the boat schedule can affect the practical timetable, so a fixed travel departure should be discussed early.

Ask which learning materials, practical activities and certification costs are included in the selected package. Any eligibility documentation and first-aid requirements must be checked before the stage that requires them. For a professional route, discuss logged dives and separate professional fees rather than assuming earlier courses alone satisfy entry requirements.

Dragon House can be booked for independent check-in and check-out dates, allowing a longer stay around training. You can also use another hotel. The website takes THB 900 per diver as a diving deposit, with the course-package balance payable separately; an available selected room stay is paid in full.

Why a Rescue pathway needs more than extra dives

The progression towards Rescue adds awareness of other divers and organised responses to problems. That depends on being able to manage your own equipment and position first. Early training and experience-building should make those foundations more reliable before rescue scenarios add further tasks.

The first-aid element and qualifying diving preparation must be checked as part of the package discussion. The published package is a route to a training goal, not a guarantee that every participant starts with the same timetable. Ask for the sequence and included courses that apply to your current experience.

Plan your visit

Choose your experience and dates, then continue to the full booking form for optional accommodation and secure payment. Diving deposits are THB 900 per person. Available room stays are THB 850 per night and paid in full.

The remaining diving balance is paid separately. If accommodation is unavailable, you can still book diving.
