One scuba dive, one snorkelling session
This beginner experience combines an introductory scuba session with time snorkelling at the island reefs. You do not need a diving certification.
Your instructor explains the equipment and basic skills before guiding you underwater. The shallow introduction is paced to help you feel comfortable.
A full day at sea
Local hotel collection, Thai lunch and refreshments are included. Bring swimwear and personal essentials; our team helps you prepare for the boat day.

Why choose one scuba dive and one snorkelling session?
This introductory Pattaya trip lets you experience the sea from two perspectives. Scuba brings you beneath the surface with instructor supervision; snorkelling lets you observe from the surface without a scuba qualification. It is a useful option if you want to try diving without choosing a two-scuba-dive day.
The scuba part begins with an explanation of the equipment, communication and basic skills needed for the activity. Tell your instructor that you are a first-time diver and describe anything that worries you. The experience is not a certification course, and completing one introductory dive does not qualify you to join certified fun dives independently.
The snorkelling part is arranged around the site and conditions. Follow the team’s instructions about the area, flotation and returning to the boat. Swimming confidence, comfort in open water and any relevant participation requirements should be discussed before booking, especially when arranging an experience for a child or a nervous guest.
A sea day with room to decide what comes next
The combination can suit a visitor exploring whether scuba is right for them, or a holiday group whose members have different interests. Let us know what each guest wants to do instead of assuming one booking option fits everyone. Snorkelling-only guests have a separate trip option and price.
Our regular boat day uses Bali Hai Pier and generally runs from the morning meeting to a late-afternoon return. Bring swimwear, sun protection and a way to protect personal belongings from water. Boat-day inclusions and your pickup arrangements should be checked against the selected experience before travel.
This one-scuba-dive-and-snorkelling option is THB 3,300. If you enjoy the first experience and want a qualification, compare the PADI Open Water course. If you want two introductory scuba dives on one day, choose the separate THB 3,900 option. Accommodation remains optional whichever diving route you choose.

The remaining diving balance is paid separately. If accommodation is unavailable, you can still book diving.

Is this a certification course?
No. This is an introductory scuba experience plus snorkelling. To earn your first diving certification, choose the PADI Open Water course.
Can I book without staying at Dragon House?
Yes. Accommodation is optional and has its own dates. A room being unavailable does not prevent you booking your dive.
