Description
Hollis SMS Katana 2 – Premium Sidemount Harness for All Levels of Diving
Meet the Hollis SMS Katana 2, a premium sidemount system designed for divers who want comfort, adaptability, and confident performance across a wide range of diving environments. Developed in collaboration with Edd Sorenson of Cave Adventurers, the Katana 2 builds on traditional sidemount concepts with a more refined and versatile approach, offering a streamlined system that can be adjusted quickly and configured to suit different diving styles.
At the heart of the Katana 2 is Hollis’s innovative Quick Fit System, which allows the one-size-fits-all harness to be tailored to the diver’s body size and preferred setup in just minutes. This makes it easier to achieve a secure and personalized fit without complicated modifications, while also giving divers more flexibility as their needs evolve over time.
Built with increased lift capacity, greater weight-carrying capability, and the premium construction Hollis is known for, the Katana 2 is designed to support confident sidemount diving in a variety of conditions. While the Katana 2 is available in both single and dual bladder configurations, our current stock is the single bladder version, offering a streamlined and dependable in-water profile. It also stands out as the first sidemount harness designed with closed circuit sidemount capability, including integrated mounts for the KISS Sidewinder.
Breaking away from more traditional sidemount designs, the Katana 2 offers a more customizable and versatile platform for divers who want a system that feels streamlined in the water while remaining highly adaptable.
