Start with the person joining us
A first-time diver and a returning certified diver need different support. Tell us your experience, interests and concerns so we can help you choose an appropriate activity. Clear preparation is part of the experience, rather than something left until you arrive at the boat.
Keep exploring with care
Our enthusiasm for reefs and wrecks goes alongside respect for the underwater environment. We encourage good buoyancy, careful finning and observation without disturbance. A rewarding dive can involve noticing small details, rather than chasing a guaranteed wildlife sighting.
Build a trip around your stay
The academy, Dragon House accommodation and coffee shop provide a local base. Room dates and dive dates are independent. Join us for a single boat day, work toward a qualification or arrange a longer stay around your own travel plans.
A good guest experience starts with understanding the guest
A beginner may need time to understand equipment and communicate uncertainty. A certified visitor may want a comfortable reef route after time away. A student may want a clear explanation of a skill that is not yet working. These are different needs even if all three guests describe their goal as going diving.
Copperband’s service range reflects that difference: introductory experiences, guided fun dives, PADI courses and specialist training. The useful starting point is a conversation about qualifications, recent experience and interests. It is easier to organise a suitable day when that information arrives before the boat leaves.
We use the website to explain the options and the booking process, while the team handles the individual planning discussion. No webpage can assess every guest’s comfort or replace an instructor’s eligibility check. The content should help you ask the right questions, not give the impression that one package suits everybody.
Diving and accommodation can support the same holiday
Dragon House brings the academy, private apartments and the ground-floor coffee shop into one base. That can make a course stay convenient without forcing every visitor to buy an accommodation package. You may dive with Copperband while staying elsewhere, or stay for more nights than you dive.
Copperband 1 provides the boat setting for our diving trips, with regular departures organised through Bali Hai Pier. A relaxed experience still needs clear meeting information, prepared equipment and realistic expectations about conditions. The operational details support the enjoyment rather than sit apart from it.
The aim is a visit you understand: what you are doing, what you will pay and how to prepare. If a particular skill, destination or concern matters to you, tell the team. A specific conversation is more valuable than a broad promise of a perfect day.
Plan your next step
Read the relevant trip or course page for the current price, inclusions and booking arrangements. Contact the Copperband team with your experience and preferred dates before deciding on training or a specialist trip.

Do I have to stay at Dragon House to dive with Copperband?
No. Accommodation is optional. You can dive while staying elsewhere, book room nights around the programme or continue with diving if the requested apartment dates are unavailable.
