Reefs and wrecks offer different experiences
Reef diving gives you time to observe marine life and practise buoyancy. Wreck diving adds structures and different planning considerations. A wreck’s depth, condition and current determine who can join a particular dive; it is not simply an interchangeable alternative to a shallow reef.
Match the booking to your experience
Certified fun dives are THB 2,900 for two dives or THB 3,900 for three. Beginners should choose a Try Dive or Open Water course. Send your qualification and the date of your last dive so the team can discuss suitable options.
Let conditions guide the final sites
Our trips explore Pattaya’s Near and Far Islands. The route depends on weather, sea conditions and the group’s experience. Let us know your preferences, while keeping expectations flexible about the exact site and wildlife you will see.
Reef and wreck dives reward different kinds of attention
A reef dive often draws your attention to the shape of the bottom, coral habitat and movement of marine life. A wreck adds a recognisable structure, openings and features that can make navigation and photography interesting. Both environments benefit from controlled buoyancy and a clear buddy plan, but they should not be treated as interchangeable.
On a reef, careful positioning helps you observe without accidental contact. Around a wreck, awareness of lines, sharp edges and sediment becomes especially important. An attractive opening is not an invitation to enter: an overhead environment requires the appropriate training, equipment and plan.
Choose the day according to your current competence and interests. A newly certified diver may learn more from a comfortable guided reef route than from concentrating entirely on an unfamiliar wreck. A more experienced visitor may prefer a specialist discussion before selecting the itinerary.
Ask about the actual itinerary, not just the destination name
An island or wreck name does not tell you everything about a dive. Conditions, the route selected and group suitability affect how the site is used. Ask what the team is planning for the current trip rather than base expectations only on a description from a previous visit.
Pattaya’s nearby island area includes Koh Larn, Koh Sak and Koh Krok, with wider options when scheduling and conditions allow. A day may be organised to support different activities, and the team must choose sites that work for the participants. Marine-life sightings and visibility remain variable.
If your goal is wreck training, select a course rather than assume a fun-diving visit includes assessment. If variety is the goal, compare two- or three-dive days with a multi-dive package. Clear priorities help the team explain which option offers a suitable experience.

Is an external wreck tour the same as wreck training?
No. A guided visit follows a trip plan for suitably prepared divers. Specialty training includes its own learning, practical exercises and assessment; wreck penetration requires the appropriate scope and arrangements.
