Koh Sak sits in the Near Island area alongside Koh Larn and Koh Krok. Its small island setting offers reef-diving opportunities close to Pattaya’s regular boat routes. Is Koh Sak suitable for a first dive?

A suitable reef area can provide a setting for supervised introductory diving or course training. The island name alone does not establish that a dive is appropriate for a beginner: wind, surface conditions, visibility and the actual entry point all matter.

If you have never been certified, book Try Diving rather than a certified fun dive. Let the instructor know how confident you feel in the water. For a qualification, compare the PADI Open Water course, which has knowledge development, confined-water practice and open-water training requirements.

What to expect underwater

Reef dives are an opportunity to slow down and look closely at coral habitat and the fish around it. Different routes and conditions create different experiences. Marine-life sightings vary, and we do not guarantee turtles or any other animal on a particular trip.

Keep your equipment secure, follow the guide’s route and maintain space above the reef. A calm, unhurried pace gives the group more time to observe the surroundings.

Requesting a Koh Sak trip

Tell us your preferred date, whether you are certified, your last-dive date and whether your group includes snorkellers or first-time divers. We will discuss the available boat plan and the appropriate activity for each person. A route may change when the conditions require it.

Standard diving-day inclusions cover equipment, instructor or guide support, Pattaya or Jomtien pickup, breakfast, coffee, Thai lunch and towels. Bring swimwear, sun protection and your certification details if you have them.
