A little planning makes your diving day easier. This guide explains the usual Copperband boat-day arrangements and the information we need before you arrive. Your booking confirmation takes priority if your trip has different timings.
The usual day at a glance

Before your pickup
Send your hotel name, a usable location and contact number. We also need your equipment sizes and chosen activity. Certified divers should provide their certification level and when they last dived. If meeting us directly, agree the exact meeting point with the team rather than relying on a general map pin for the whole pier.
For courses or multi-day bookings, confirm which days involve pool practice and which involve a boat trip. A course’s first day may follow a different timetable.
What to pack
- Swimwear and a change of clothes for after the trip.
- Sun protection and personal essentials suitable for a day at sea.
- Your certification details and logbook if you are a certified diver.
- Personal equipment you have agreed to bring, with accessories kept together.
- Any booking details or remaining-balance arrangements from your confirmation.
Equipment and food
Standard Copperband diving trips include rental equipment, instructor or guide support, breakfast and coffee, Thai lunch and towels. Tell us about dietary needs when booking so we can discuss what can be arranged. If bringing your own gear, confirm the setup with the team before the day; do not assume that every personal configuration is suitable for every trip.
Where will we dive?
The route depends on weather, sea conditions and the group’s experience. Compare our island and wreck guide and conditions guide. A preferred wreck or animal sighting is not guaranteed by selecting a date.
