Scuba Diving in Pattaya just got better!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pattaya\u2019s Newest &amp; Most Exciting Dive Site (2026)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf0a The Discovery of <em>The Pattaya Pinnacle<\/em> \ud83d\udc22<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Discovering the Pattaya Pinnacle\" width=\"1290\" height=\"726\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QRDaotPa6Ik?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Pattaya Pinnacle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>Copperband Scuba Academy<\/strong>, we don\u2019t just dive\u2026 we explore. \ud83e\udded<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our passion has always been discovering new places for <strong>Scuba Diving in Pattaya<\/strong>, and since March 2025, we\u2019ve proudly uncovered <strong>four brand-new dive sites<\/strong> \u2014 all currently (as of February 2026) explored exclusively by us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And now\u2026 we\u2019ve done it again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On <strong>11th February 2026<\/strong>, something special happened. \ud83d\ude80<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83e\udded Exploration Day \u2013 The Adventure Begins<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Three of our explorer instructors and a few of our most dedicated team members woke up with one goal:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cToday is an exploration day.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>With nautical charts spread out, insights from experienced local friends, and guidance from our incredible captain, we identified a promising location due east of <strong>Na Baan Pier<\/strong>, just off <strong>Koh Larn<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The charts suggested:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\ud83d\udccd Shallowest depth: <strong>4\u20135 meters<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83d\udccd Deepest depth: <strong>15\u201318 meters<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83d\udccd Possible pinnacle structure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>But here\u2019s the thing\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pinnacle that close to Pattaya?<br>Marked with a buoy?<br>Undived?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Surely not\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udea4 Setting Sail Into the Unknown<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCaptain, set the GPS \u2014 let\u2019s go!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The excitement onboard was electric \u26a1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you know <strong>Scuba Diving in Pattaya<\/strong>, you know most sites are well-established. Finding somewhere new \u2014 and close to existing sites \u2014 would be a game-changer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We arrived.<br>Nothing obvious on the surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But when the anchor dropped at <strong>7 meters<\/strong>\u2026 we knew something was there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83e\udd3f The Dive Into the Unknown<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Gear on.<br>Buddy checks complete.<br>One simple dive brief:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\ud83d\udc6f Stay with your buddy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83d\udedf Surface safely if separated<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83c\udf0a Explore and observe<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We descended\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3m\u2026 nothing.<br>5m\u2026 still sand.<br>6m\u2026 anticipation rising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And then \u2014 at around <strong>9 meters<\/strong> \u2014 LIFE. \ud83c\udf3a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A thriving coral reef exploded into view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83e\udeb8 A Hidden Coral Wonderland<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The reef was alive with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\ud83c\udf38 Soft corals swaying in the current<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83e\udea8 Hard coral structures forming the backbone<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83c\udf2c\ufe0f An unusually high number of fan corals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83d\udc0c An abundance of nudibranchs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83d\udc20 Thriving reef fish everywhere<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The deeper we explored, the more vibrant it became.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After <strong>35 minutes<\/strong>, we looked at each other underwater\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We had done it.<br>We had found a pinnacle in Pattaya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But then\u2026 it got even better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udc22 The Moment We\u2019ll Never Forget<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As we approached what looked like the end of the pinnacle and prepared to cross over\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>GREEN TURTLE<\/strong> appeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Absolute magic. \u2728<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In that moment, we knew:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scuba Diving in Pattaya had just leveled up.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udccd About The Pattaya Pinnacle Dive Site<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf0a Exposure &amp; Experience Level<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This site is exposed and best suited for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u2714\ufe0f Open Water divers with 20+ dives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2714\ufe0f Advanced Open Water divers and above<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2714\ufe0f Comfortable divers in mild current<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is likely best dived at <strong>slack tide<\/strong>, though continued exploration will help us understand the conditions better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The site benefits from partial protection from surrounding islands near <strong>Pattaya<\/strong>, meaning conditions may often be calmer than expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udccf Depth &amp;
